Your Guided Walks
Here at Wales Outdoors HQ we have been working hard to restructure, reschedule and to develop new events for the lovely members and occasional walkers that join us on our adventures. We hope that you are coping with lockdown and although certainly suffering from withdrawals from the hills we know that both we and you are set to get out there as soon as is allowed.
To this end we need to have our admin sorted. And we need your help.
Please read the following carefully as, if you have bookings with us, you will be effected.
IF YOU HAVE NO OUTSTANDING BOOKINGS then please do get searching the events and start planning in and booking your guided walks and adventure breaks and holidays with us. You can find our events at meetup and at our website and also at our Facebook page. We now direct you to the website from both meetup and Facebook to pay and this can be by debit or credit card (preferred) or by PayPal Express. Do go have a look at our new calendar and booking system which we own and host ourselves. It's fresh and modern and simple to use. We will be adding more event information for each walk or holiday as time rolls on...
IF YOU ARE A 'MEMBER' (pay by standing order) then do nothing. Your standing order ought to continue to be paid and we will contact all that have done this in December and ask you to move over to the new system from January 2021. If you have continued to pay your standing order throughout the crisis you will not need to pay walk leaders a 'fiver on the day'. If you have stopped your standing order and wish to join up as a member again once we are back then you will need to go to the store and follow the instructions for becoming a member.
IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR AN INDIVIDUAL EVENT/S and the event/s had to be rescheduled then please add the date in your diary. You can find this new date by > go to meetup.com > login > click on 'your events only'.
Here you will see any events that you have RSVP'd for. If you can't make the rescheduled date then you need to let us know and asap. We need to have accurate lists of who is going to any particular event so that we know if an event has spots available and to know how many staff to have in place. No worries if you can't make the new date, just let us know, we will remove you from the event and we will add you to a list of those with a credit. You can use this credit against any similar event through the end of 2021. All you need do is let us know which event.
