Working With Covid
Wales Outdoors protocols for delivering walks in Wales in light of the Coronavirus. As guidance changes these notes will change.
GETTING THERE
Wales Outdoors are not encouraging car sharing.
MEET AND GREET
We will meet at suitable locations and the leader will describe the walk, the conditions underfoot and the estimated time it will take. We will do this whilst observing the prevailing social distancing guidance. You will be reminded there is to be no sharing of kit, clothing, food or drinks.
WALKING
We aim to walk with ‘bubbles’ no larger than six people and these bubbles will walk with a few minutes gap between each. We will all walk whilst observing the prevailing social distancing guidance.
LUNCH
We will have lunch/snack break at a suitable spot that can accommodate the whole group whilst we observe the prevailing social distancing guidance.
PARTING
At the end of the walk we will say our goodbyes whilst observing the prevailing social distancing guidance and then go our separate ways.
ONCE HOME
We encourage all to share photos in the Wales Outdoors photo stream group - http://walesoutdoors.co.uk/groups/walk-photo-stream/
We encourage all to maintain friendships by adding new found friends - http://walesoutdoors.co.uk/members/
SUPPORT WALES OUTDOORS
We work hard to maintain the group and provide a vibrant activity programme and this takes time and money. We have developed four tiers of support and would ask you take a look and if inclined choose one that suits your level of participation and your pocket. Payment for these are monthly by standing order or by card using our SubscribeStar portal - http://walesoutdoors.co.uk/store/Membership-c47122337
Here’s to beginning walking in Wales once again! See you on the hill soon!
