Why The Wye?
Melitsa is so very lucky with the weather. You remember that time when it didn't stop raining don't you? The floods? It seems oh so long ago and given this current run of glorious weather and the corvid crisis but a dim memory.
But it was the main topic of discussion for over a month and Melitsa was concerned about her walk in the Wye Valley... Biblin's Bridge was down and perhaps it would continue raining... Wait and see... And on the day... glorious weather and smiles all round!
Why Gallery
Our Wye Valley walk takes in a great cafe at Whitchurch and the giant oxbow and Symmonds Yat and the Wibbly Wobbly Bridge and King Arthurs Cave and of course the wonderful forestry.
Being only about eight miles and with three opportunities to buy a cuppa (in good weather four opportunities to buy an ice lolly) it's a fine social day out walking.
Melitsa is planning to be back delivering this walk on the 19th July - http://walesoutdoors.co.uk/store/The-Forest-of-Dean-And-Boarder-Country-p183014770 - fingers crossed we have restrictions removed by then.
