What a week of mixed weather and mixed ability groups! Tom had an epic on Snowdon, with a few slow walkers adding a couple of hours to his day and Andy delivered three waterfalls walk in a variety of ever changing weather conditions.
Snowdon
Tom had a full house, 12 clients, and relatively fine weather for his trek to the summit (and back) of the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon. A few walkers were unprepared for the few hours of uphill toil and so extended the day somewhat. Some even were lucky enough to grab a spot on the train and so summited but took the easy route off. Despite the difficulties, Tom received five star feedback for delivering a mighty fine mountain day :)
Waterfalls
Andy had a cancellation for his half day four waterfalls walk and so a Swiss family of three were guided, in appalling weather, REALLY heavy and quite persistent downpours, around a couple of waterfalls before the five year old had had enough and it was off to the cafe. They had great fun though and interesting chat was had.
Waterfalls
Two couples met Andy at Sgwd Gwladys and enjoyed a mostly dry tour around the waterfalls, completing the 9 miles in good time. Check out the pics!
Waterfalls
The final walk of the week saw Andy pick up one client from Cardiff and meet three others at Sgwd Gwladys Cafe before walking around the circuit taking in six waterfalls, the village shop for a lolly and the wonderful cafe at Clun Gwyn Farm. What a lovely group and once again great banter throughout, making the day memorable and indeed educational. The Polish women were foraging crazy and explained safety rules regarding mushroom picking.
