After returning from the SE where Andy was re-decorating his dad’s house Andy delivered a fine waterfalls walk and was then off to Snowdonia for a two night backpacking trip. Tom climbed Snowdon with a small group too :)
Snowdon
Tom took three up Snowdon on the Wednesday and a fine time was had by all. Here’s the feedback:
We had a fantastic day out. Tom, our guide, was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was friendly, encouraging and kept us interested with all sorts of knowledge about the mountain. If you are thinking about booking a guide to support you on your trip up Snowdon, I highly recommend using these guys!
Waterfalls
Andy also had three, this for his Six Waterfalls Walk. The weather was kind and the banter was memorable :)
Snowdonia Backpacking
Not having delivered this tour since pre covid times, Andy was looking forwards to the trip and the weather, despite the wind which seemed to come only when we were camped, played ball and we dodged the rain for the duration. We had six hikers, plus Andy, for this beginner/intermediate trip into the wild landscapes of the Carneddau in the Snowdonia National Park. This is a tour that starts at a cafe, features a cafe on day two and you guessed it, has two cafes to visit on day three :) We had two nights camping and even managed to summit the second highest mountain in Snowdonia, Carnedd Llewellyn where we met the ‘fridgeman’. Andy had met him before, back in May on Ben Nevis. Maybe Michael and Andy will meet again… We’ll let the photos do the talking :)
