It was a busy week! We delivered waterfalls walks on both the Monday and Thursday and then Andy was driving up to Fort William and begin the slow journey back taking in Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and finally Snowdon, yes, it was Three Peaks Challenge time (Snowdon pics in the following Weekly Roundup). There was also a Hen Party that Graham delivered on the Saturday!
Monday Waterfalls
Andy collected three women from central Cardiff, the first to book his Cardiff pick-up service (needed as public transport in Wales is APPALLING!) and spent the day slowly wandering around his amazing waterfalls. After a damp start, the weather improved a little and remained grey but dry. The banter was continuous and all found the day most memorable :)
Thursday Waterfalls
Andy collected a lovely couple from Australia who were exploring the UK. A fine day was had as evidenced by this feedback:
Hi Andy
Peter and I had a great time, really loved the experience….beautiful National park and the waterfalls were amazing.
Thank you for an informative hike, something we will always remember, we enjoyed your company and that of your dog.
Your love of nature and the outdoors was apparent which made the day even more special. One of our highlights to the UK.
Leanne and Peter
Ben Nevis
It’s a relentless mountain and was made all the more tiring given the amount of snow on the summit but hey ho, we trekked on :) 7 hours up and down…
Glyncorrwg Hen Party
Graham delivered a lovely strole around Glyncorrwg for 20 women on a Hen Party. Not a usual venue for us and likely we won;t be returning, given the reception from the local angry farmer!
Scafell Pike
Easier than Ben Nevis but still a long ways up. This mountain was a fine ascent but the descent, with a slow member of the group who was having knee issues and caught in 30 mile an hour winds and freezing rain, saw us all colder than we had been for a very long time…
