Wales Outdoors delivered five walks this week, one ascent of Snowdon, three waterfalls walks and one evening wander to the summit of Pen y Fan for sunset.
Snowdon
Tom had two clients for his walk to the summit of the most popular mountain in the UK. He took the intrepid pair on a wander over the Rhyd Ddu ridge, a narrow section that is not for everyone. The look of triumph on their faces says it all :)
Waterfalls
Graham had four, including one we picked up from Neath Station, and his feedback was entirely effusive!
Waterfalls
Andy led this sunny day hike around his Six Waterfalls to great acclaim.
Pen y Fan
It was Andy’s birthday and what better way to spend it than getting out for an evening hike for sunset? The clouds came down as we approached the summit, as did the temperature, so we cracked open the sparkling as we got nearer to Pont ar Daf Car Park and the end of the walk.
Waterfalls
What a wonderful day, a full house of twelve clients led by both Andy and Kate. We had doctors and dentists and behavioural nudge units and teachers and psychotherapists and IT specialists. The conversation covered a wide range of subjects, as you can imagine and the rain held off for the whole day. The only downside was the number of people at Sgwd yr Eira, great to see so many out enjoying the countryside but this was the busiest day Andy had ever witnessed. At peak times this area is best avoided or early morning morning visits are best.
