Weekly Roundup 23/7/23
Andy delivered three AMAZING and FIVE STAR walks this week and off the back of four similar the previous week. No need for the gym then :)
Snowdon
Directly after dropping his clients back to their hotels in Cardiff on Sunday, after a glorious waterfalls walk, Andy was straight back at it and off to Snowdonia for a night in his car and Snowdon the following morning. He met a group of very competent hikers from Belfast and guided them up and down the highest peak in Wales. This is their group’s feedback:
We are just back from a brilliant hike up Snowdon with Andy! What a character! He is very knowledgeable about the local area, encouraging and takes a good picture. We travelled over as a party of 6 and have already been online checking out when we can get back over for another hike with Andy!
I've recommended Andy to all my fellow hikers !
Waterfalls
A sunny day, not unusual but unusual given the most recent weather. A packed car, a six client pick up from Cardiff and off the waterfalls for a fine day walking 9 miles and taking in 6 named waterfalls and plenty more to boot :) Andy taught Alex to balance his partner, Emilia. Emilia was a trooper, as was Jonathon from Texas, who both swam in the 8 degrees water at Sgwd yr Eira for an absolute age!

Andy met eight at Pontneddfechan and had a day herding cats! There was quite a disparate fitness level and keeping all together and happy was a task indeed. However, all managed to complete, despite the back end being an hour and a half later than average, and all left amazing feedback and were complimentary of Andy’s handling of the group :)
I really enjoyed a fabulous waterfalls walk yesterday, led by Andy.
He was warm and welcoming from the outset and I particularly enjoyed listening to his vast knowledge of the area and it's history.
His client care was second to none, managing a mixed ability group very well, ensuring everyone was looked after & safe.
I've already booked onto a future event and very much looking forward to it.
