Weekly Roundup 16/4/23

It was a packed week of walks delivery and we had a fine time at the jewel in the Brecon Beacons crown, the Eight Waterfalls Walk, which Andy has made his own, and also our away long weekend to Snowdonia National Park with the focus on the amazing walks around Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Two were no shows so it was a tiny group having big fun!

Snowdon

We were meant to be 11 but 6 failed to arrive and so the five of us made our way to the summit through snow and at the top battling the terrific winds. The six did make it, but without us and an hour late!

Blaenau Ffestiniog West

This is the best walk in Wales. Andy says so. And he ordered the stunning weather to accompany the day! Lakes, hills, old industry, mines and inclines! This day has it all!

On the last day of the North Wales residential the mist rolled in and simply would not shift. Andy was head down navigating all day and the highlight was walking through the ZipWorld site and hearing the screams but not seeing a soul…
