Three walks were delivered this week, two waterfalls and one Pen y Fan hike. A third waterfall had been booked as a private tour but on collection from their hotel the two clients said they did not like dogs and after one would not get into the car, where docile Mali was securely separated from passengers by being in the loading area of Andy’s estate, it was agreed the day would not work out well. They were from India and it is assumed with a cultural aversion to canines.
Waterfalls
Andy picked up two from Cardiff and met another three at Pontneddfechan for a rather damp but highly enjoyable trek around the waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Pen y Fan
What a strange day, spent with two Americans over for the coronation and obsessed with the Royals. I did mention Jimmy Saville once… Oh, and Epstein once or twice too… We walked to the summit of Pen y Fan and then I took them to Aberfan, closely associated with the Royals, where one changed into the self-same dress that one of the blue-blooded wore on her visit there a couple of weeks prior… The final stop was Castell Coch, another dress change and Instagram influencer shoot, and then to the station for the couple’s departure. A fine day indeed!
Waterfalls
It was two Americans again, this time in the Waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We split the day walking the four waterfalls from Pontneddfechan then visiting Sgwd yr Eira.
