Wales Outdoors delivered one mountain walk this week. What a fine day on the hill. My group of 'three peakers', out on a training day in advance of hiking the highest mountain in Scotland, England and Wales with Wales Outdoors, in May.
The Four Peaks Challenge
Mixed weather and mixed terrain was the order of the day. On the summit of Fan Fawr we bumped into Andrew Thomas Price, a colleague of ours from back in the day and bushcraft expert who we recommend you check out for fine coastal foraging and bushcraft days and weekends :)
16.5km of hiking with 727m of ascent and four summits ticked off, Craig Cerrig-gleisiad, Fan Frynich, Fan Llia and Fan Fawr in the Fforest Fawr area of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
You can book our walks through the Wales Outdoors Website or, if you are a group, you can book us for a bespoke adventure, you choose the date and time, using the ‘Book Your Guide’ option.
