Weather, it’s a thing. Climate change, it’s a thing. But are we heading towards the end time, a full stop for Gaia? I think not.
Our governments are impoverishing us with their spending and their policies associated the WEF’s top-down directive, Agenda 30. Our local authorities are like rabbits caught in the woke’s headlights and are doing all that they can to virtue signal their way into the stone age. And the greater mass of society is on board with the fear porn, hopelessly brainwashed by the media and accepting of pressure groups, such as Extinction Rebellion’s and Greenpeace’s, messages of final days. But it’s all lies and propaganda. These lies will see humanity enslaved and living in a Chinese-style social credit system that the great dictators of the past could only dream of. Expect climate lockdowns in the not-too-distant future, that are all about control and have nothing to do with climate reality.
Fear porn
In the ‘pandemic’ we were told to wear masks. Prior to the pandemic, it was accepted by all professionals that masks served no use when mandated to the general population. Post-pandemic it is now agreed that masks did not impact infection rates. So, why were we asked to wear masks? Many propose that as a visual signal, mask-wearing has a clear outcome. Fear. Today we are seeing similar, daily news stories of Europe on fire, with the weather charts painted red and black to indicate very, very hot indeed, unparalleled levels of heat. This heat is washing across the continent, apparently, and with the result? Death! But is this true?
There is no crisis
Well, no it is not true. Reporters are stating on UK media that North Africa is 40 degrees and could reach 45 degrees. Algiers at noon, currently, is actually 32 degrees… The BBC reported a couple of days ago that it would be 40-45 degrees in Alicante but people on the ground know it is 30 degrees and are making this known. That’s pretty normal for this time of the year, 30 degrees. The general trend seems to be for UK media to report temperatures as 10 degrees above the actual rate. And we have to ask why. Fear porn prevails and underneath this scaring of the public, there is always an agenda.
The science is clear
Carbon makes up 0.04% of the atmosphere. Anthropogenic carbon is thought to be 3%. That equates to 0.001%. I simply do not accept that such a small contribution to carbon by all of humanity can effect drastic change on a global scale. Indeed, this assertion of a human-caused carbon climate catastrophe is utterly laughable, when you know about the 0.04%. This is why children are not taught this and why activists will not debate on this point.
We are shown images of raging fires in Canada. We are told this is climate-induced. Well, no it is not. The fires in Canada that just a month ago saw New York looking like a Martian city are the result of poor forest management, not global warming. And did you read that wildfires in Canada have been in decline for decades? No, I thought not.
We are told that glaciers are in retreat and this does appear to be the case. But we are still retreating from an ice age. It’s to be expected. But wait. Glaciers, just like estuaries, ebb and flow. Roads and paths are being found underneath glaciers that were used in the middle ages, by the Romans and in pre-history. This is reported without recourse to allay fears of a global climate crisis, indeed the climate crisis advocates simply ignore this evidence that temperatures, over relatively short periods of time, globally, rise and fall. Remember when you could skate on the Thames? Or grow grapes for fine wines in the same area?
‘An Alpine path between two glaciers in Switzerland is emerging for what a local ski resort says is the first time in at least 2,000 years after the hottest European summer on record.’
‘High in the mountains of Norway, melting ice has led to the discovery of an ancient remote mountain pass, complete with trail markers and artifacts from the Roman Iron Age and the time of the Vikings.’
And then the forests under ice…
‘Receding Swiss glaciers incoveniently reveal 4000 year old forests – and make it clear that glacier retreat is nothing new.’
Shame on my colleagues
Yes, those that I respected, who live and work in the great outdoors, who deliver walks and hikes, are not chatting to their clients about the idiocy of anthropogenic climate disasters. No, they appear to be fully on board with this nefarious agenda, as to speak out is to lose one’s voice and possibly one’s clients. Or simply it’s because they have not put the effort in to understand where the climate change agenda has come from or is headed. Shame on them!
The future of walking
Yes, you will always be able to walk. But increasingly your options of location will be restricted. Flights to far away places will start to become expensive and for all but the rich, disappear. Cars also will become a thing of luxury, with new petrol and diesel car sales to end in 2030 and the cost of fuel rising sharply from that date. And we all know what public transport is like… And so if you live in a city you’ll be encouraged to wander the parks, to go for a cycle ride, and repeat. I see another ten years life, maximum, in Wales Outdoors. I see clients not being able to get to remote start points without great cost and my current business model, picking up from hotels, that will very likely become too expensive a service to provide. I’d suggest get your travel in now, while you can.
I survived 1976
The tarmac used to melt when I was a kid. In 1976 we were asked to share bathwater. The drought lasted all summer. It was hot and we absolutely loved it! I wear my survivor’s badge with pride :)
