Wales Outdoors delivered three events this week, a waterfalls hike and our monthly social hike, this time over Mynydd Llangynidr. While Andy was out delivering the social group hike Chris was in the waterfalls area delivering another waterfall walk. We also had a few meetings and Andy went on a Safeguarding full-day course for his CPD.
Waterfalls
What a wonderful day! Gorgeous warm weather and a hike around the six waterfalls of Bannau Brychieniog with clients from the US, Yorkshire, London and a couple of members of the Wales Outdoors social hiking group. We even had three go for a dip at Sged yr Eira, brave souls the three of them :)

Mynydd Llangynidr
Our social hike took in the Chartist’s Cave and Trefil Quarry as well as many cairns (burial mounds), some limestone pavement and a fair bit of open hill walking, so cross country over rough ground. The conditions were perfect, it not having rained for some weeks, and so underfoot and quite out of character for Wales, there was no mud :)

Our next social group hike is 'Llangattock Escarpment Circuit' on the 3rd May - to register visit https://www.facebook.com/events/606227712015006/ or https://chat.whatsapp.com/BQzqRMhzjDOBUatO7ZMmiq - all are welcome (£5 to register) Walks can be as cheap as £2.91 - Subscribe to our blog
to receive our once every three or four days posts, delivered to your inbox, and then you can attend as many hikes within a year as you choose. There are other benefits too - check them out :)
