Wales Outdoors delivered two waterfall walks and Wales Guided Tours delivered a well-received tour of the South Wales Valleys. All this whilst avoiding the chaos that The Foo Fighters brought to Wales…
Waterfalls
Seven clients for a small group tour of the waterfalls of The Brecon Beacons National Park. We had two from the UK, tired from a day in the Principality Stadium, One from Israel, two from Germany and two from Portugal. The group gelled very well indeed and we all had a fine day, stopping at Clyngyn Farm for lunch and getting back to the start point just fifteen minutes later than is usual. This likely because the female German swam in both the first and the last pool.

‘My wife and I did the Brecon Beacons Landscape tour with Andy. We had a wonderful day. Andy was so knowledgeable about all aspects of our trip. He organized the day in such a way that we felt very immersed in the past and present history of the region. We were very moved at Aberfan, and throughout the day Andy gave such important context at each site we stopped, and his demeanour and interactions were so friendly that we felt like we were doing the tour with a close friend. When we described our tour to friends we are travelling with, they wished they had opted to go on our tour. Thank you Andy for a wonderful experience.’
Waterfalls
A group of four, plus Kate and both dogs, Mali and Lyric, enjoyed the day out with Andy. We had two from Colorado and two from China, the British member of the group hailing from Essex, and not a silver belt in sight. What a great day with the small group chatting throughout. Andy even balanced one hiker, at Sgwd Gwladys, something he’s not done for some time :)
