Wales Outdoors delivered four waterfall walks and Wales Guided Tours delivered two tours, East of Cardiff and The Gower…
Waterfalls
Graham kicked off the week. Graham had just one client on Monday as two cancelled at the last moment...
Three Castles Tour
The Three Castles Tour, plus an abbey and an amphitheatre is a regular Tuesday feature. This tour will also be rewritten soon enough to include the museums in Caerleon, making it a slightly longer day but oh so worth it.
Here is a view of a little bit of the MASSIVE Caerphilly Castle from Tuesday. Five from the US and one from New Zealand. And, of course, a great day was had by all :)
Caerleon Roman Amphitheatre
National Roman Legion Museum
Caerleon Roman Baths
Chepstow Castle
Tintern Abbey
Caerphilly Castle
Castell Coch
Waterfalls
Graham was waterfalling on Tuesday too, this time his group was 9, an increase of eight on the previous day :)
The Gower
Monday was a FUN day with great clients that were so energetic! The day ran over a good deal due 'photo shoots' at every stop, but hey, the client always comes first and delivering tweaked itineraries to suit the client is what we are all about :)
The Waterfalls
It was Andy’s turn to be out and about in the waterfalls… Andy was out on Wednesday with a lovely group from Israel, Holland and the UK. We were all grateful for the wonderful cafe at Clungwyn Farm, or halfway point. Privately managed and with toilets and fine food this is a lifesaver for some on our hikes :)
Meeting
Andy met with Isabel from Yuup and is pleased to announce that Wales Outdoors will be one of the first to onboard with Yuup Cardiff which will be launched in September…
Waterfalls
It was a small group day with the weather totally playing ball. Bokun were along to record the day for its promotion of Wales Outdoors and of Bokun, the Tripadvisor ticketing business.
Rainbows come and go, but memories last forever :)
Following a day of rain we made our way to the waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park for a six waterfall walk. We had six clients, two staff, two dogs and a team of two from our amazing ticketing provider, networking facilitator and website host, Bokun, who were along to film the day for promotional opportunities.
The sun shone and the river was refreshed and in medium flow. Perfect!
Thank you to Sgwd Gwladys for breakfast and coffee, Rhos filling station for water and ice lollies and Clun Gwyn Farm Cafe for lunchtime food and drinks. You are all amazing!
And thank you to the guys from Bokun for fitting in with our group, not slowing us down and being fine additional interest for our day out in the sunshine :)
