Wales Outdoors delivered four full day tours this week - our Three Castles, Waterfalls, Valleys and Gower tours
First up though, check out the new website, which is now full of moving pictures :)
Three Castles
Our Three Castles is soo much more than just Three Castles! We visit museums and Abbeys and amphitheatres and of course, Three Castles… Our small group had a great day, out of season, few other visitors at the best of the South East Wales tourist attractions.
Waterfalls
The waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons National Park are great to visit at any time of the year and autumn is perhaps, one of the most delightful. Who doesn’t like kicking through piles of leaves, enjoying a honey pot location with few other visitors or simply wandering the hills in good company :)
The Valleys
Not our usual Valleys tour this, much of the Valleys that we intend to visit are not available, due to changes to attraction tours, winter opening times and road closures, so, we re designed this tour and had a great day, visiting Aberfan, Penderyn Whisky, the wonderful Big Pit, Newports Transporter Bridge and finally Tredegar House…
The Gower
This was a private tour to the Gower. A day visiting beaches and home grown attractions. First stop was the farmers and craft market at Mumbles, then to Verdis for an Italian Hot Chocolate. Next Three Cliffs Bay then Gower Heritage Centre for lunch and a tour of the 12th Century Mill. Finally, Worms Head at Rhossili where we were lucky enough to catch sight of a porpoise frolicking in the ocean :)
