Foraging Walk 8th April
graham will be wandering the valleys on the way to Henrhyd Falls, the highest waterfall in the Brecon beacons National park and throughout the tour will be looking at edibles, medicinals and poisons, all found on the forest floor, in the hedgerow and found sprouting from the leaves of trees.
Waterfalls Walk - 11th and 12th April
We take in six named waterfalls and plenty more too, including the glorious Sgwd Gwladys and the iconic Sgwd yr Eira. It’s a 10 mile day with plenty of ups and downs and likely lots of mud too so not for the absolute beginner to countryside hikes, but saying that, we’ve encouraged many a newbie through the day. Bring bathers, if you dare ;)
East of Cardiff 8th April
This guided tour is sold out and will take in Caerleon Roman Amphitheatre, Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey, Caerphilly Castle and Castell Coch! Yep, a tightly packed schedule of historic sites to the East and a little to the North of Cardiff.
North of Cardiff 11th April
This guided tour has three spots left and will take in The Brecon Beacons, Penderyn Whisky, Aberfan, Castell Coch and Rhondda Heritage Centre. Priced to include all attraction entries and a likely a cuppa and a cake somewhere lovely, Andy will guide his group from one memorable spot to another, at some to take photos and at others to be guided by the attraction staff. The Whisky tour and the virtual underground tour are both about an hour long and are both engaging and highly memorable experiences.
You can book our walks through the Wales Outdoors Website or, if you are a group, you can book us for a bespoke adventure, you choose the date and time, using the ‘Book Your Guide’ option.
