The Last Monday Moan
THE MONDAY MOAN - A once a week spot for us to moan about the stuff that perhaps we should all be moaning about that little bit more...
The Monday moan had a good run and was generally well received but I think it is time to move away from weekly complaining. Not because there is nothing to complain about, but conversely, because there is too much, and we all know it.
2020 saw a focus on the Covid regulations, the social media giants, tourism governance by the Welsh Government and authority service shortfalls such as access to the great outdoors or local parks.

These problems for the average Jo will not be going away anytime soon and awareness of the changes in our society indicate that these problems are multiplying at a near exponential rate. Moans therefore are not the solution.
I will however, throughout 2021, be delivering a daily comment at my rapidly evolving personal website. This extension to me, the living breathing man known as Andrew Lamb, will be a personal column that pokes fun or ire at the most startling news item of the day. You can access next years moans as well as catch up with my writing (being uploaded slowly over time), here - http://www.andrewjohnlamb.co.uk
Are we already in the handcart on route to hell? Can we apply the brakes? One voice moaning is never going to stop that ride and so I am waiting for a collective effort, a new movement of mass, an unstoppable cart headed not to hell but to the gates of parliament. I'll jump on that ride!
Until then I'll keep the moans to myself. There are plenty out there more eloquent and informed than me that will be holding the torch in the meantime.
