The Lady Of The Lake

Andy was off with a bad back and so David stepped in to deliver this fine walk in the far west of the Brecon Beacons National Park and taking in Llyn y Fan Fach of the Lady of the Lake legend as well as three major peaks.

Despite the awful weather preceding the event on the day it was pretty good, and as you can see from the photos, mostly dry... mostly we say as there was the river...

This area of the BBNP is lesser visited than the Central Beacons or Black Mountains and is a delight for that as well as it's otherworldliness. No wonder legends abound. 

Andy will be delivering another of these in 2021 and likely a summer visit. Be prepared to swim with the leeches!
