The Forest of Dean
It was back in early March and before we had any idea that in just a few weeks time we'd be living in a disaster movie.
We met at the RSPB bird sanctuary near Parkend and spent the day in the forest taking in some of its fine attractions and amongst great company too :)
We walked through the forest and past the iron works, visited Clearwell Caves, an amazing self guided trip into the deep underground system there and had another big wow factor trip at Puzzle Wood before heading back to the bird sanctuary via it's bird hide.
The weather was warm and dry, the boar were not seen but evidence of them was clear, the birds were singing and smiles were on everyones faces :)

'Absolutely bloody marvellous'🤸♀️
'Another fantastic day! Can't believe we crammed so much into one walk. Thanks Andy!'
And Andy said 'Yes, what a lovely day and thank you for posting some pics :) Yes, we did manage to cram in a good deal and walk 10 miles to boot! Kate and Mali and I hope to see you all sometime soon :)'
Andy will be delivering a residential in the Forest of Dean in November and this walk will be repeated.
