Penarth To Lavernock
SATURDAY 23RD NOVEMBER 2019 - Andrew Lamb and Kate Barber
Most of our walks take place at the weekends and most are circular and this walk was no different.
We met at Penarth Marina and walked along the beach to Penarth Pier then along the cliff top to Lavernock Point where we had lunch. It was then onto Cosmeston Lakes and a cuppa and loo stop then a circuit of the lake and back via a sustains trail to Penarth and to our goodbyes.

One of our regular walkers, Al, uses 'wikiloks' and records the route and adds photos to it too. Here is the link to his page for this walk - Penarth to Lavernock
It was another one of our regular walkers birthday. Cat hails from England but despite that she's still welcome ;) Andy bought her a cake and gave her a hug for crossing the bridge on a wet birthday morning :)
This walk is recommended for it's variety as well as it's loos and cafes and the ability to shorten or lengthen depending on the group or the weather.
