Paypal Again...

I think we know that all financial institutions are scummy

and slimy and bottom feeders but man, Paypal is up there with those other scum balls such as Facebook and Twitter and Google... 

I had removed all links with PayPal but during an attempt to begin taking booking s on meet-up once again I was forced to dip my toe into the cesspool that is nothing to do with being a pal but all about your data and control. 

The attempt to have meetup work as it should obviously failed as that company simply do not invest in their software and do not listen to customers. There is still, and after four years of me complaining, a glitch that means that someone booking through the meetup platform may not appear as attending meaning I can't control numbers and I have no idea how many people will turn up on the day... Hold on... I've been sidetracked... 

Anyways, I stopped trying with meetup and left PayPal as an option on my own websites booking portal. 

UNTIL...

Whilst Richie Allen was on holiday Paypal closed his account. 

Richie is a genuine guy and he delivers, four nights a week, the most successful independently run radio show in the world. He's a one man band with hundreds of thousands of listeners and no advertising. So, he manages to deliver his show through subscription. All he asks for is £3pppm or whatever you can and want to pay. 

94% of his income was being administered bye PayPal. 

In one fail swoop, without telling him why or giving him a right of reply, they took him down. This is in line with the social media companies who have, over the past couple of years, been de-platforming all outspoken voices, well known or not, and limiting or killing off debate on the most pressing of issues. 

So, in line with my policy of falling into sympathy with others, like my deleting of my Vimeo account upon their overnight and vicious de-platforming of David Icke, I have deleted Payapl. It's all I can do in solidarity with Richie and of course if we all stopped using PayPal they would have to re think their elite's driven protocols.

Please detangle yourself from Paypal. They are true SCUM.

And in their place I have added to both Wales Outdoors and Cardiff Life Model Collectives shopping cart the ability to pay in digital. 

Please get digital and pay in Bitcoin or Etherium or some other and support the only weapon we have in the battle against the banksters...
