What a fine walk in horrendous weather with a full group of parents and kids - well done for getting out and about with us!
We met at Blaen y Glyn Uchaf car park and wandered through the woods, choosing not to attempt the usual river crossing ( wow that river was high) and making our way to through the forest and to the gorgeous waterfall near Blaen y Glyn Isaf.

Despite the aforementioned horrendous weather on the drive in the skies did clear some and for most of the day we had dryish skies and so there was good opportunity for games and lunch and photos.
The tunnel of course is the main draw for this walk and remains a memorable part of the day - no one was too scared ;)
Although is the tunnel the highlight? Or is it the cream tea at the end of the day at The Old Barn Tea Rooms - a highly recommended and very friendly spot for a fine cuppa (china cups and pots and real tea leaves).
We'll be walking this way sometime later int he year but have so much more to offer so...
