A short walk around Newport Wetlands.
This is a fine spot for a wander close to the muddy banks of the estuary and through acres of reed beds.
This is a very accessible location with excellent wheelchair friendly paths. The views across the water and through the reeds are spectacular.

However, due to the bird sanctuary nature of the location this is not a dog friendly area. Dogs are allowed but on restricted paths that circle the reserve.
Recommended for a half day especially with children or elderly and less able walkers :)
