Yes it’s a Tripadvisor company and for that, we apologise. We have had serious run-ins with Tripadvisor in the past and to be honest, their customer care is not so good, and Viator, another Tripadvisor company, their event platform, leaves a hell of a lot to be desired too. However, Bokun, since we onboarded a month or so ago, has been amazing!

Bokun is now our ticketing provider and the place where our calendar of availability sits. Furthermore, included in the monthly rate (for which you get low fees for ticket sales) they provide a rather good website build and hosting service, enabling a business to host everything required for successful sales in one place.

There is more, hosts of resellers including all of the major OTAs but the reason why we are happy to share Bokun is the attention to detail and stunning customer service team. I had a few issues moving across and building the new website and these were dealt with swiftly and to my satisfaction. My Bokun manager reached out to me and we had a thirty minute call, out of courtesy, to see how I was getting along and to point me in the right direction for increasing sales, gaining greater exposure and adding functionality for potential clients. That relationship will be ongoing and I am able to reach out at any time and actually gain useful and swiftly delivered responses.

I don’t usually give shout outs for tech businesses but in this case I have been so impressed with Bokun, the cost savings and simplification of routines are so good, I thought I’d make an exception.
