Four Waterfalls Walk 2
The waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park is a main tourism attraction for South Wales and rightly so. We deliver a 10 mile 8 waterfalls walk and then we split that into two walks and deliver on different days two 5 mile 4 waterfall walks. These photos are from the second of the four mile waterfall walks.
Meeting at the small car park close to Clyngwyn Bunkhouse we head off into the woods and first stop is Sgwd Clun Gwyn. This is a fine waterfall and often our lunch spot on the 8 waterfalls walk.
It's then over to Sgwd yr Eira, the waterfall that all are energised and wowed by as we all get to walk behind it's falling water. Here it was very busy on this day, partly as it was the afternoon, partly as there were a few large groups in the area that managed to arrive at a similar time, so a large family group, Bristol Girl Hikers, a ramblers group and us.

There are still two more waterfall to go and these are Sgwd y Pannwr and Clun Gwyn Isaf. These are fine waterfalls and I think my favourite is Clun Gwyn Isaf, a majestic series of falls that cascade down the valley.
It's then the dangerous path, a narrow section that we careful guide across before a final look at the first waterfall of the day as we repeat a small section of path on the return journey to the cars.
This day Andy was assisted by Isobel, Kate and Martin through a generally dry and mild afternoon and it was a joy to be out with all of the lovely people from the Wales Outdoors meetup group. We're sure we'll meet a good few of them again
