February Competition
Most business' run competitions in order to gain Facebook likes or follows on Instagram or conversion of browsing into buying... And, we are no different... The way that we generate enough footfall to be able to fill our walks and so guarantee a vibrant and varied programme of constantly evolving and innovative provision is mostly through gaining upwards of 100 new fb likes each week. This in itself is a bit of a task and the phone is forever being monitored, to invite browsers to like the page...

We would like to run a competition inviting you lot to invite your friends to like the Facebook page. But there is no easy way that we can monitor how many likes you have generated... Hmmm... But we're still going down this route for the February competition and it will have to be less techy and little bit old school and clunky...
RULES OF ENTRY
The person with the most new likes to our fb page referenced to their name will win a rather good Spirit of Air 1.8m power kite.
Invite your friends to like the Wales Outdoors fb page
Once done ask them to click on send message from the Wales Outdoors fb page with, simply, your name as it appears on fb.
Encourage your friends to invite their friends too :)
We'll add up the responses at the end of February and announce the winner!
This helps us to drive forward a programme of walks and to take on more walking leaders, offering more both in quantity and diversity :)
THE PRIZE
It's a BRAND NEW 1.8m Powerfoil by Spirit of Air that retails on average for £45. It's a great way to start the amazing fun of a traction kite , 140cm span , with a ripstop nylon sail and a cordura zip top storage bag. Comes complete with 100lb ( 45kg) Dacron line on a winder with straps . Suitable for ages 10 up (with adult supervision). Suggested wind range 6-25mph.
We've used these kites as the first kite out of the bag on a kite training day. They are easy to get to grips with and just a lot of fun. Once you've mastered this it might be time to move on and up to a bigger kite but with this on your pocket we feel that you can fly your kite whenever the mood takes :)
