And I thought I had 'won'. But I then walked the route only to fine the section of fence from Leckwith to Sanatorium Park MISSING. This path is adjacent to a major and very fast dual carriageway.
I complained once again and finally I have had what I believe to be a satisfactory resolution, the promise of works on the Leckwith to Sanatorium Park fence and further works to the tarmac surfaces of the cycleway itself.
When all is done, from the first message through to completion, we will have been looking at eight months in total and a good deal of my time. Sustrans and Cardiff City Council both ought to be ashamed of themselves and they should have responsibility for these services removed from their management. But hey. All sorted now.
And the key item to take from this is... Yes! 'Monday Moans' work!
