Dean has been active in the outdoors since his teens and was climbing in the Alps from the age of 16. He managed to combine outdoor activities with a 22 year Armed Forces career and has travelled extensively throughout the world. He now lives in North Wales with his wife and two dogs.
Climbing, kayaking and mountaineering across many parts of the globe he has a raft of qualifications including Mountain Leader and Level Four Kayak Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS
These are Dean's Mountain Qualifications. Dean also has the following: Aspirant level 5 inland kayak coach, level 3 sea, level 3 surf and canoe. 4 star assessor, canoe safety test assessor and paddleboard instructor. Phew!
