This is what David has to say about himself:
'I have been walking in the mountains for over 50 years, walking on my own for over 40 years and have been a qualified Mountain Leader since 1986. I have walked in high mountains all over the UK and Ireland, Spain, the Pyrennees, the Alps, Ethiopia, Australia and walked the GR20 in Corsica.
My walking ethos is to go to interesting places rather than the tourist hotspots, but if one is included it’s definitely not by the tourist routes! I lead walks from the far end of the Black Mountains to the Carmarthen Fans and on the Gower and do seek to add new walks to the programme. Occasionally these walks do go off the beaten track, but that allows group members to get involved in some navigation skills.'
QUALIFICATIONS
David is a Mountain Leader of over thirty years but he can't find his documents - Mountain Training are looking into getting David a copy. David has an in date Outdoor Leader First Aid qualification
