Andy Lamb Is One Of The Few Green Badge Tourists Guides Who Is Also A Mountain Leader

Andy is pleased to announce that he is now a qualified Green Badge Guide after undergoing rigorous training with the great team from WOTGA (Wales Official Tourist Guide Association).

Andy spent the winter of 2023/24 reading, taking exams and meeting up for weekly training days at such wonderful locations as Cardiff Bay, Chepstow Castle, Big Pit, Brecon Town and a host of other wonderful tourist attractions in Wales.

'Guides are qualified to guide in a defined region of Wales. They have passed practical guide examinations to deliver commentary on a moving vehicle, a walking tour and a site tour. They have also passed written examinations about both their region and Wales.'

And congratulations to his fellow students, fine tourist guides all of them.

Look out for some new tours being offered off the back of the long, wet winter he spent learning about historic locations in Wales :)
